The program

The housing fair event City Living in Jätkäsaari, to be held between 1 and 9 September, will feature a number of entertainment and expert events, seminars, discussions, workshops and artists. Everyone is welcome to this autumn’s most interesting city event!

On-going programmes

Jätkäsaari comprehensive, Rionkatu 10 Exhibition of children’s works of art displayed on the school windows


 

SATO path:

Point 1: Cosy art experience, Rionkatu 11, club room downstairs

Home-themed art experience combining contemporary art and design. The work belongs to SATO’s Mikä tekee kodista kodin (’What makes a home a home’) campaign, which explores the home atmosphere through all five senses. The experiential and provoking installation was designed by designer Tero Kuitunen and artist Rauha Mäkilä.

 

Point 2: My home in the city, Malagankatu 7 A 48

Meet at resident at their functional and cosy home for one person at Malagankatu 7 A on Sunday 2 September between 15:00 and 17:00 and 3-7 September between 17:30 and 19:30.

A home is a place that reflects the personality of the person living there; this is evident in the furniture and objects that are moved along with the resident from one home to another.
